Make and Take activity | 1920s style car papercraft

Engine Room | Kelham Island Museum

In the run up to this year's National Science and Engineering Week on the theme of "Our World in Motion" we are encouraging families to come and see the transport collection at Kelham Island Museum. Find out about Sheffield made cars from the 1920s and construct and customise your own 1920s style car in paper.
This activity is free, a donation of 50p is recommended to cover resources.

Suitable for 9yrs+ (younger children will enjoy the Melting Shop soft play area next to the activity table).

A Cut Above the Rest

Don't miss our new exhibition A Cut Above the Rest in the Hawley Gallery and find out why Sheffield is renowned for it's cutlery and tableware. Kids can enter a free quiz with Hawley Collection merchandise up for grabs!

Museum Trails

Museum trails are available next to the Grand Slam Bomb in the entrance to the Museum. The trails are free but donations are always welcome.
