Our approach to personal information
Our website does not collect any personal information, other than the details you submit to us via "contact us" forms (which is emailed to us, and not stored on our web server) and information collected from visitors who comment on our blog (see below).
We collect anonymous statistics about how our website, kiosks and mobile apps are being used in order to understand how people use our online services so we can improve them and make them more relevant to our users. We use Google Analytics to do this.
If you join our email newsletter list via our homepage, we will store the personal information you provide us with securely. The servers we use to store this data and administer our newsletters may be located outside the UK or EU, but will always abide to the same high standards of security. We will never share your details with any third party.
We use open tracking to monitor and improve the email newsletters we send you. This allows us to track the number of people who read our missives, and gather other information such as email client, geographical location (based on IP address), and which links are clicked.
You can unsubscribe from our email newsletters by clicking the Unsubscribe link, which is included at the bottom of every edition, or contact us and we will remove you from our mailing list.
If a visitor to our website comments on a blog post, we will store their IP address and email address in a password protected database. IP addresses are stored for the purposes of detecting spam, and potentially tracing any malicious comments. We will not use them for any other purpose.
Our Privacy Notices explain how we use and protect the data you choose to share with us. You can download them from here.
