Future Shorts Festival is the first ever global pop up festival, showcasing the most exciting short films from around the world. The Festival currently takes place in over 147 cities and 55 countries and comprises a worldwide audience of a half-million people, on and offline ...and now Kelham Island Museum is joining them.
Come and take part in this next generation of film festivals!
Advance tickets cost £4 and are available at Kelham Island Museum reception (Mon - Thurs 10am - 4pm, Sun 11am - 4.45pm). Tickets are now also available on the door from 6pm priced at £5.
Please note: this event is for adults only, the films are rated 18+ as some show scenes of graphic violence and a sexual nature.

*Carl Wilson is a film academic with a specialised interest in ‘indie' films and the work of Charlie Kaufman. Variously writing about reflexive gangsters, Hitchcock, German Expressionism, ‘talkies', the Dream Factory, and whatever else takes his fancy, Carl's work has recently appeared, or will be appearing soon, in SCOPE, PopMatters.com, Film International, The Essential Sopranos Reader, the Directory of World Cinema: American Independent (Vol.1 & 2) & American Hollywood (Vol.1), and World Film Locations: Vancouver.
Important: please arrive in plenty of time as latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break.
A pay bar will be available on the night with a small selection of goodies, please feel free to bring your own sweets or popcorn but all drinks to be purchased on site, thank you.
