Abbeydale comes alive this Summer!

Summer Festival at Abbeydale

Celebrate the summer season with us - families can enjoy demonstrations and displays of traditional crafts and skills from local craftspeople and artists including traditional cane seat making, woodturning, a blacksmiths forge and willow weaving alongside the Sheffield Lacemakers and Hallamshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers.
Kids can have a go at corn dolly making and willow weaving techniques.
Living History tours of the Hamlet with Mr Tyzack and the colourful characters who lived and worked at Abbeydale.
Support the great work of Heeley City Farm who will be bringing along youngster's favourite small animals including goats, chickens and ducks. Open Up Sheffield Artists and Sheffield Country Markets (Sunday only) will also display their wares.
