Abbeydale comes alive with the sights and sounds of its industrial past with trade demonstration by local craftspeople including woodcrafts and pottery, spinning, weaving, dying and lacemaking, cane seating, grinders and blacksmiths and tours and activities with our living history characters!

Join us to celebrate the tradition of Lammas or ‘loaf-mass’ - the first grain harvest. A feast of fun providing a real taste of the past, with seasonal produce and planting and the chance to make a corn dolly or scarecrow!
