Volunteering and Work Placements
The Trust offers opportunities for people to spend time at Kelham Island Museum or Abbeydale
Industrial Hamlet as volunteers or on placements. This time can be part of training for work, school
placements, college or university courses, or for people who have a personal interest or wish to
contribute to the Trust’s work. Voluntary activities and placements mainly concentrate on working
with the curatorial or education staff, and a limited number of places are open.
