Meet the Victorian Christmas Market veteran stallholders!
Posted on by Website Administrator
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our stallholders over the years.
Although we welcome new traders every year, you’ll be sure to see some familiar faces around our market quarters, a handful of which remember 20 or more of the 25 years we are celebrating!
We’d like to share a couple with you here!
Enjoy a warm welcome from master stallholders, George and Joan Wingate, perhaps our longest serving stallholdlers!
“Joan and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time selling winter accessories at every Kelham Island Victorian Christmas market since 1993. Congrats on your silver jubilee! The market is a little gem in the heart of Sheffield’s industrial past. Each year has brought to life Sheffield’s Victorian era. Early memories include getting icicles off the courtyard stall and the Team getting the market up and running after the floods, I don't know how!!
We've loved the family atmosphere and warmth (more so since we moved the stall inside!), it's always well organised and we've seen many interesting stalls and met lovely people along the way. Congratulations to the team and thanks for all your help over the years, we look forward to visiting as customers in the future, as soon as I hang up my Victorian top hat (though not just yet as you can't keep us away in 2017!).”
It’s the 20th Christmas Market for Lisa Davis of Razzle Dazzle who helps put the glitter into the ‘All That Glitters’ market quarter selling gorgeous jewellery and occasion wear. Thank you Lisa for taking time to wear our Red Top Hat!
Don’t miss both Joan and George and Razzle Dazzle in our All That Glitters market quarter located in our Upper Gallery.
